Will physical talent limit his upper limit?
Thanks to Duke University's very friendly playing environment, Konipel was able to utilize Cooper Flagg's offensive restraint to produce a large number of good shooting performances. And Koenig himself is also very comprehensive, always able to make the most of his mediocre athletic abilities, which may be attributed to his keen sense of the game and on court prediction on both ends of the attack and defense.
And his question is whether he can continue to play the role of Duke University in the professional league, or grow into the player who leads the scoring chart in the 2023 Nike Elite Youth Basketball League and throws a 38% three-point shooting percentage in college.
Scout perspective: "He's great, but I think he's just a role player in the NBA. Before he starts shooting steadily, I'm still a bit worried. He plays tough and competitive, but he doesn't have much athletic ability. So I was thinking, what is he best at? Is he a versatile guy? Anyway, this type of player is more suitable for being a role player. But if he can become stronger and hit three pointers, then he has the potential to become the starting fifth player for the team
