The University of North Carolina hires former Duncan&Jeremy Lin agent Jim Tanner as general manager

The University of North Carolina announced on Tuesday that it has hired Jim Tanner as the general manager of its men's basketball team.
Jim Tanner is a native of North Carolina. He graduated from the University of North Carolina in 1990 and later attended the University of Chicago Law School, where he studied under the then professor and former US President Obama. In addition, he also participated in Bill Clinton's campaign in 1996.
During his agency career, Jim Tanner represented Hall of Fame members such as Ray Allen, Tim Duncan, and Grant Hill, completing over $1 billion in NBA contracts.
He has served as a career agent for 17 North Carolina alumni, including Vince Carter, Raymond Felton, and Taylor Hansbrough.
At present, the players under its management company include Desmond Bain, Jarrett Allen, Jeremy Sohan, and Luke Cornett.
